The Government of Canada is launching a call for proposals under the Sectoral Workforce Innovation Fund to support workforce projects across key sectors

Workers and employers across the country are facing increasing pressure from tariffs, skilled labour shortages, supply chain disruptions and broader economic uncertainty. The Government of Canada is focused on what we can control: investing in the people and sectors that will drive our economic future. Through major projects in housing, clean electricity and defence, the government is creating demand for skilled workers and building the tools to make sure Canadians are ready to fill those jobs.
